About Me 

Hello, I'm Alexus Grant and I have been an educator for almost a decade. My journey began as a as a kindergarten and since then I have worked with students from K-5th grade. While I thouroghly enjoyed teaching students, I craved more meaningful interactions with my students. This desire led me to explore web development, instructional design which will enable me to extend learning beyond traditional classroom hours.

 

My technical journey, which included coding, web design, and more, prepared me for the challenges of the global pandemic in 2020. As virtual learning became more popular, I easily transitioned, becoming a helpful resource to my colleagues and teaching online. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for Instructional Design. I've since pursued a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction and I'm now dedicated to creating engaging learning experiences. With a strong background in communication, teamwork, and leadership, I always design with the learner in mind.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening , spending time with family , going to the gym , painting and traveling . Being creative and making memories with my family brings me true joy .
